Pianism (2008)

Pianism was born from the inquiry of what kinds of sound can a piano make. The piano part and the elctronic part came from this single idea. The tape part is composed of manipulated audio samples recorded from the piano by tapping the wooden part, stretching the strings, and playing sharp staccato notes.
